House Party for planned parenthood

School Woods is hosting a benefit house party for:

Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin
Thursday, April 14th, 5:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Planned Parenthood is celebrating its 75th anniversary with 75 – or more! – parties in Wisconsin. And we’re one of them.

Come for a special showing of a video on Planned Parenthood’s history, and  enjoy the company of your friends and light refreshments.

We’ll take donations at the door, but Planned Parenthood is calling this a “friendraiser” not a fundraiser – we simply want to bring friends together to celebrate Planned Parenthood!

RSVP – You can sign in below, or email (ds83473@gmail.com) your host to let her know how many will attend.

Please use the contact information you’d like Planned Parenthood to use.

There’ll also be sign-in in sheets at the party.

Menu for School Woods 4th Birthday

School Woods is 4 this year! We’d like to get together for a Sunday Supper, on October 17th, to celebrate.

Here’s the menu:

  • Tuscan bean soup, with white and green beans
  • several varieties of lasagna – roasted eggplant & greens in a red sauce; Bolognese, with rich meat sauce and spinach pasta; butternut squash in a creamy Besciamella sauce
  • Big green salad with torn croutons and boiled cider dressing
  • Crusty bread with olive oil & Parmesan for dunking
  • Peach melba with almond cake & ice cream – peach slices with raspberry sauce, served with cake and ice cream

We’ll eat family style, passing bowls and serving platters at the table. Let’s arrive by 6:00, and there’ll be a little time to mill around and eat appetizer-y things – nuts & olives, a cracker or two – and talk. We’ll try to sit down to eat around 6:30 or a little after, as soon as everyone gets there!
