\nSee you at the next dinner!<\/p>\n\nRoasted root vegetables on a pillow of whipped goat cheese, with herbs & micro greens<\/del><\/li>\nIndividual chicken pot pie or vegetable pot pie – savory meat and vegetables\u00a0 under a golden pastry dome<\/del><\/li>\nGreen beans almondine (or other vegetable, if something looks good at the market!)<\/del><\/li>\nChocolate mousse served with whipped cream and Langues de chat<\/em> – thin crispy cookies<\/del><\/li>\n<\/ul>\nDinner 2 – May 10 – Special Mother’s Day edition!<\/h2>\n

- Your choice of broiled Salmon or Black Bean Cakes, served with cucumber dill sauce and lemon and lime wedges<\/li>\n
- Potato gnocchi with browned butter<\/li>\n
- Leafy salad \u2013 fresh greens, maybe asparagus, with a tangy, dried cranberry vinaigrette<\/li>\n
- Eton mess \u2013 strawberries & cream with crumbled meringues thrown in \u2013 we\u2019ll be using the UK National Gallery\u2019s recipe \u2013 rated in the top 3<\/a>!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Dinner 3 – May 24, the night before Memorial Day<\/h2>\n\n- Chips & salsa<\/li>\n
- Carnitas – Locally raised pork, slow roasted with chiles<\/li>\n
- Chile-roasted carrots and new potatoes<\/li>\n
- Served with pickled onion and radish slaw<\/li>\n
- Frieda Kahlo’s “Mexican flag<\/a>” rice – green, white, and red<\/li>\n
- Fresh, homemade, flour tortillas for wrapping it all up in<\/li>\n
